Who this policy covers

This policy applies to 5th Quadrant Consulting and to this website. It is written to be read alongside our Professional Scope page, which explains which work we perform directly and which work is carried out by an independently engaged licensed professional.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies. It does not run analytics, advertising pixels or any third-party tracking script, and it makes no third-party network requests while you browse. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from an external font service. Nothing about your visit is recorded unless you choose to submit the contact form.

What the contact form collects

The contact form asks for your name, email address and a description of the challenge you want help with. Every other field — company, phone, city, industry, entity type, turnover band, team size, accounting software, services of interest and preferred callback time — is optional, and exists so that we can scope a useful reply rather than respond with generic questions.

Submitting the form requires you to confirm that you are happy for us to contact you about your enquiry.

How that information is used

Enquiry details are used to respond to you and, if we proceed together, to scope an engagement. They are not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with third parties for marketing. We do not add enquiry addresses to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Where it is sent

Form submissions are delivered to our team and are not stored in a database on this website. Delivery is handled by a transactional provider acting on our instructions. Basic anti-spam checks run at the point of submission; no analytics or behavioural profile is recorded alongside your enquiry.

Client engagement data

Financial and operational data shared with us once an engagement begins is handled on a role-based access basis, restricted to the people working on your account, under confidentiality terms and a documented process for identifying and managing conflicts of interest.

Where an engagement requires restricted work — a statutory audit, a prescribed certification, a statutory valuation or a legal opinion — the relevant information is shared with the independently engaged licensed professional performing it. That professional is responsible for the information they hold in the course of their own engagement.

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept only for as long as they remain useful for follow-up, and are deleted on request. Records relating to an actual engagement are retained for as long as the engagement and any applicable statutory record-keeping requirement demand, then disposed of securely.

Your choices

You may ask what enquiry information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will confirm what we have done. If anything in this policy does not match your experience of dealing with us, tell us — that is a defect worth fixing.
