Why “5th Quadrant”
A standard chart has four quadrants — everything measurable fits inside them. 5th Quadrant is named for the part that doesn't: the judgement calls, edge cases and forward-looking decisions no dashboard captures on its own. Our mark is a literal drawing of that idea — four equal quadrants, and a wedge that starts at the same origin but keeps going past the edge of the chart.
